There is a USB plug within the bluetooth module that can easily be charged with the included USB-C cable.

While the volume is limited for safety, the sound can be heard clearly amidst the plane noise due to the fact the speakers are flat and very close to the ear, preventing noise from the outside.
Keep in mind that sound levels might be lower during takeoff and landing. However, Ear Cubs should not be used during these periods.
